ChildSafeNet at 2019 NW Internet Crimes Against Children Conference

ChildSafeNet is honoured to make a presentation at the 2019 NW Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Conference at Microsoft Headquarters campus, Redmond, WA (9 - 11 October 2019).

Our Research Officer, Aarati Raghuvanshi participated as a Conference speaker and made a presentation on ChildSafeNet's research projects. Aarati, probably one of the youngest speaker and the only speaker from South Asia, informed about our programmes for protection of children and young people online. Our cyber safety awareness video "Online Saathi" ("Online Friend"), with English sub-titles was also screened at the Conference. The organizer allocated ninety-minutes to ChildSafeNet for the session.

The Conference was organized by Seattle Police Department in collaboration with Microsoft, Google, Cellebrite, Facebook, MSAB, Technology Coalition, Uber Law Enforcement Operations and Seattle Children's Hospital.
