Cyber Safety Awareness Raising at CAN InfoTech 2018

ChildSafeNet, in collaboration with Red Circle Creative Solutions, raised awareness on cyber safety for children and young people at the Info-Tech 2018 fair, organized by the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) from 25 – 30 January 2018. In the Info-Tech, ChildSafeNet screened videos on cyber safety and distributed approximately 10,000 print materials on cyber safety. Furthermore, ChildSafeNet conducted a cyber safety survey with more than 1,000 children and young people. Likewise, more than 500 parents participated in a survey on parenting in the digital age. Photoshoots on the ChildSafeNet photo-booth was very popular among children and young people, keeping them engaged and entertained throughout the Info-Tech.
