Cyber Safety Training for YOUth Volunteers
ChildSafeNet, in collaboration with Unlimited Technology, conducted a training on cyber safety for protection of children and youth in the digital age on 22 August 2018. The training, conducted at Unlimited Technology Building, New Road, Kathmandu, equipped YOUth volunteers with the knowledge and information on making the internet safer for children and young people.
The training session included videos, presentations, cyber safety quiz, discussions and experience sharing. After the session, popular radio programme in Nepal for young people, "Saathi Sanga Manka Kura" interviewed the participants on cyber safety. Participants found the training very useful and expressed their interest to share the knowledge gained with their families and friends to raise awareness on the importance of cyber safety.
Thanks to Unlimited Technology, YOUth volunteers, Red Circle, Equal Access Nepal and ChildSafeNet volunteers for the support in making the cyber safety training a success.
