One-day Symposium “Protecting Children and Young People in the Digital Age
ChildSafeNet organized a one-day symposium "Protecting Children and Young People in the Digital Age" at Kathmandu School of Law (KSL) on 10 April 2018. The Symposium was conducted as a part of the Master of Human Rights and Democratization – Asia Pacific Programme (APMA) 2017-2018 Cohort. More than 110 law students from KSL, including international students had participated in the programme. The Symposium, also participated by Nepal’s prominent human rights defenders and legal experts, provided them opportunity to learn, discuss and understand importance of making the internet safer for children and young people. A panel discussion was also organized to explore what law students can do to make the internet safer in Nepal.
